Windows Registry Patch for Internet Explorer, Version 7 (IE7)

If you:
  • are using Internet Explorer 7 (IE7)
  • have saved a SADM, BDM, etc., report to your computer
  • have tried to process/open that report and received the following error message:
Insight Error

You will need to make a change to the Windows Registry on your computer.  This change will increase the current timeout setting to enable your documents to run successfully.

You must be using IE7 to download this patch.

Follow these simple steps:

  1. Click on the following link (button) to download the file needed for the patch.

  2. You will see the following dialog box:

    Save File image

    Click RUN

  3. You will be prompted with a Registry Editor dialog box asking if you are sure you want to add the information.

    Yes run image

    Click YES.

  4. Another Registry Editor dialog box is presented stating where the patch took place and that it has been successfully entered.

    Click OK

  5. You must now reboot your computer to complete the patch.
