BEFORE you download the Brio plugin.If you are using Windows XP with Service Pack 2 (SP2), and have downloaded and installed Internet Explorer 7 (IE7), you will need to make changes to your IE7 settings before you can download and use the Brio plug-in. The reference, "Configuring IE7 for use with Brio Plugin", provides detailed guidelines for making these changes.How to Download and Install the Brio Insight or Quickview Plug-inFor computers using Windows XP/Service Pack 2 and Internet Explorer 7 (IE7) onlyNavigate to http://www.datawarehouse.uconn.edu/SADM/Sadm.html. Click on the, "Go to Student Administration DataMart Reports" box to continue. ORGo to the Budget DataMart homepage: WWW.BUDGETMART.UCONN.EDU Click on: "Click here to Go to Budget DataMart Reports" OR on either of the BDM icons:You will receive the logon dialog box pictured below.
Enter in your Username (mainframe userid) and Password. You are then prompted to install the Plug-in. Select Begin The Microsoft Security Warning dialog box appears. Select Install.
The setup wizard installs the Plug-in. Next you will be presented with the following dialog box. Select OK
Keep going, you have one more dialog to go! The "Installation Successful" dialog box will be the last one. To complete the process Select Finish
It is recommended that you close the Brio application and log back in. This will ensure that the Plug-in was downloaded properly and a cookie was created. |
